There was a school in the North East section of the Bronx. that was closed in mid to late 80s. I'm trying to research why.
and I can't even seem to find anything about a school closing around that time.

If you can fine out to what school the records were given you can fine out that way. If you know the area the school was in try the hall of records. Put out an add that ask any one that graduated from that school to E-mail you at your address. Try the board of education as well.
I know the problem well, my college closed in 1971; but the records are kept-ed at the State University at Lincoln Nebraska, for all the good it does me; my degree is still useless as hell to me; to correct this I would have to go back to school again, and this is not in the cards for me.
