Sin is anything short of God. That's a lot - and includes everybody and everything in this world, n'est ce pas?

Just because we don't recognize that it's a "sin" doesn't mean that some things aren't still bad.
Athiests= No Formal Religion/ No Religion
Anarchists= Chaos/Bad/No Religion.
Not that the two are even remotely close. An Athiest is still a good person if they want to be. (Most do). I'll also remind you that a LOT of religious people, including Christians, do unthinkable and horrible things. Much like people from ALL backgrounds. That's why I get mad about words like, "Sin".

Sin implies biblical rules. People can still believe that something is wrong but choose not to use the word sin as they are not religious and do not want people to think they are. Atheists and others still believe that many many things are wrong (a bit of a generalisation there, I can't really speak for all) but just don't label them sins. Please stop trying to make atheists look like bad people

Sin is wrong and no matter how one classifies it, it is still wrong no matter what God you serve. You might not call it sin but when you do something wrong it is sin. Someone stop making atheist look so bad they are because they dont believe in the creator of heaven and earth

I think that everything in the world has it won limit and nothing will be for good, because god always give us the opportunity of choice and if we are wire as much as we can of course we will get the better to find the best in things and also getting better and better each day.so I really think that there are sin to whom practises bad actions and also think wrong things but the question is not who is wrong or right, the most important is who decides to change his owns thoughts and actions to improve his way of relate with all the world and achieve a bettier way for all of us.

Definition of Sin - What is it?
A definition of sin is doing what is wrong or not doing what is right according to God's rules (1 John 3:4). If God says "Do not lie" and you lie, then you have sinned. If God says "Do not steal" and you steal, then you have sinned. According to God, sin separates you from Him (Isaiah 59:2).

Most all atheists I've ever met don't really know what they are all about but are just so turned off by religion that they get away from it. The truth is as it has been said many times " there are no atheists in the fox hole". When a life and death situation rears it's ugly head the first thing everyone says is " Oh God please help me".

i can classify things as wrong, and the only sin for me is to kill a person or an animal..Concerning the other things are just wrong and none has the right to juge in negative or positive way.You just avoid what disturbs you and thats all.
According to the traditions or their rules, different societies, through religions have determinated sins whatever is against their rules or beliefs...

not believing in sin doesn't mean not believing in morals values. statistically religious people have just as much sense of right and wrong as atheists. i think you misunderstood the people who said that.
sin implies religion
