met this girl and she texts me at least 8 times or more a day. Its the first girl I have dated since my breakup a year or so ago. She's really nice, sweet etc... but I feel like its a bit much. Am I wrong about this? We went on a few dates and I kind of like her and she is really diggin me but this bothers me a little. What do you guys say??

Ummm 8 is kinda a lot but are they simple hey-how-r-us or novels? Is this a conversation or just her constantly talking to you. She probably just really likes you and is making the mistake many women do by contacting you everytime she thinks of you, which can be scary for a guy, I would give her the benefit of the doubt and give it a little time, if she is still too clingy then tell her you guys need to slow down.

does she call as much? She may just really like you and since you are coming off a break up I am sure you want to be careful. Sounds like you should take your time and see if she overdoses on other things too. Give it some time

I think she's just really into you, it's a good thing. I hear what you are saying about her being like that tho. I would give it another week and if it's still going on just ignore her till you want to see her, or just be honest and tell her you're not there yet or something.
I'd stick with it, sounds like a good deal for you.

Too needy, too soon. Try to slow things down with her, like replying less to her. It could just be that she needs someone needier to get that out of her system.
Relationships require a sense of equality. She is obviously giving more than you want, and she is probably feeling like you aren't giving enough.

well maybe shes just one of those girls who is so used to texting and always texts her friends and stuff, its just her way of communication when shes not with them. if it bothers you, you should tell her in a nice way

u dont always have to reply....and texts are good. it shows she wants to talk to u even tho she isnt wit u.....but if its wayyyyy tooo many texts, just tell her to back of a little but not totally

That is over-kill. I think she has invested way too much emotionally already and it just indicates neediness to me.

hah. my situation...however i'm the girl sending the texts...wonder if it bugs my guy...
just tell her. i hope my guy would. lmao. just say "baby do you have to text me so much?" or seomthing like that.
