This may seem weird but a weeks ago for some ODD reason my key wouldnt "fit" in the ignition. I push, i jammed, I tried turning the wheel EVERYTHING.

My bf later came over and used his strength and got it in.

And now every so often the key gets stuck inside! Its so weird. Like sometimes it comes out with out a problem and sometimes I gotta yank on the thing!

Whats going on?? What in the world would cause this?

I would buy some cylinder lock lubricant which I think contains graphite in it. Spray this into the lock and move the key in and out to see if you can save the cylinder before it seizes. Some spray lubricants evaporate and turn to varnish inside the cylinder so use lock lube. Look at the key and make sure that you don't have any nicks in the end of the key from dropping it on the ground etc. If there are nicks especially in the grooves they will bind going into the lock. If you have another spare key to the vehicle try it to see if it works better. If this helps get a new one copied from this key and throw out the old one.

Spray a small bit of WD-40 in the ignition lock cylinder.

It sounds like the pins are sticking.
