Find an activity that keeps your hands busy when you're bored.
For example, learn to knit and keep some knitting supplies by your TV. Instead of reaching for a snack, reach for your knitting instead. Or you can exercise your arms/hands with some small dumbbells.
A good trick is to drink a large glass of water before you snack - the water will fill you up.
If you have to snack, keep a supply of healthy snacks on hand. Fruits and veggies are a great choice - carrots, celery, raisins, dried fruits, apples, etc. If you're craving grains, try graham crackers or (unbuttered) popcorn or unsugared cereal.
You're underweight as it is, so don't feel bad about snacking. Just replace the junk food with healthier, tastier alternatives - my favorite afternoon snack is cheese slices, raisins, and crackers, or cheese/chips/salsa.

I'm the same way. Try not to spend so much time in front of the TV. When you feel like snacking, go for a walk or get on the computer or something. And if you are going to snack (we all do) keep healthy foods around for you to eat and get rid of all the junk you're used to snacking on.
I keep hummus in the fridge for snacking on. It's healthy and really low cal. Also, always carry a bottle of water or green tea with you. Sip on it throughout the day and you'll stay full, longer.

you already answered what is causing the eating- Boredom! So you need to escape being bored, go outside and do something, find an activity that you enjoy. Eating because you are bored is a way of finding something to give your body/brain something to focus one. If you find a hobby I am sure that you will be able to keep your cravings at bay. As for healthy snacks try fruits and vegitables. If you prefer to go for sweet have crackers with jam or yogurt. Find something you enjoy but moderation is key to being healthy. Always enjoy a large glass of water with what you eat to help you feel fuller.

You and You only are the only one that can put food in your mouth or stop putting food in your mouth.
My best suggestion is to either have available some fresh cut veggies and fruit which require refrigeration. That way, they will be nice and cold when you go to eat them.

Try finding a fun hobby that will keep your mind off of food! Try something challenging, or something so fun you just can't put down. Some suggestions : Read a book, sew or crochet, or maybe try playing and spending time with pets.

Take a fruit that you enjoy,
like eat a 100 grapes.
also try dried fuit... it really tastes delicious
especially dried pineapple
u can also have smoothies!
if u go somewhere to get a smoothie though
u have to ask them not to put sugar or honey in it
--because i learned that they do that
also my favorite snack is frozen yogurt
its just like icecream and barely any calories!

eat anything raw!
eating vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, or other things like this are SOO good for you. if you cut back on sugars you will crave a lot less because sugar is responsible for most of your cravings
also...drink LOTS of water. its completely good for you and drinking a huge glass before you eat will make you feel like eating so much less

Enjoy being 16. Lighten up on yourself. You are ok the way you are. Just maybe do some exercise every other day for example.

well for one you can get off that couch and find a new hobby or sport in your school or just get out of the house and chill with your friends. Or you can just keep some fruit and veggies on hand like apples, pears, bananas.(those are my favorites)

me too i eat when i'm bored. maybe 100 calories snacks are best when hungry or a bowl of K's cereal
