People will turn to theology when factual evidence is lacking.
Remember when the Christian church insisted that the flat world was the center of the universe? Galileo was tried and condemned for heresy when he tried to teach that the sun was the center of the universe.

God did not CREATE anything. The universe and everything in it FORMED over 14.5 billion years.

the same reason a father takes joy in the delight and happiness of his son. he loves giving to him. and the son praises the father for giving.
