Because not everyone views dogs as family. No matter how much you love your dog, at the end of the day it is still just an animal. Look at the amish, where most of your designer dogs come from, their dogs get little or no human affection. They raise the dogs like cows or pigs. As animals not pets. Im not condoning fighting dogs the same way I dont condone drunk driving. But this IS America. You can choose to do what you want. Im an avid hunter and dogfights are less gruesome than what I do. Noone complains about that. Then again not everyone can picture just how bloody shooting and gutting a deer is.

becasue they dont see the dog as a pet...the dogs are bread to fight...not to love and play with....they breed the dogs the way people breed cows or chickens...its not about the dogs its about the money made when they win fights with the dogs...it their wasnt a lot of money in it they wouldnt do it...yeah it sucks but thats just the way it is
