Free will.

I don't pretend to know all of the reasons why God created man, but the Bible makes it clear that He wants to have a relationship with us. In order to have a relationship, there needs to be choice. There needs to be free will. You cannot have a meaningful relationship with a robot.

Having free will means that you must be free to choose to have that relationship....or NOT.

Given this, you wouldn't have much choice in the matter if God was performing some major visible miracle every day. To make it a free choice, there would need to be enough evidence to get you curious to check it out. And then there would have to be enough evidence to convince you that there is a God once you looked into it.

If the question of Gods existence is of little importance to you then there is not much reason to check out the evidence. My guess, however, is that it IS important to you. Otherwise, why would you spend so much time on the subject and ask questions like this?

I was an Atheist too once. Fortunately, I was curious enough to look into Christianity (admittedly after poking fun at it for a couple of decades).

Ask yourself this question: If you are a confirmed Atheist, why do you spend so much time of the subject of God?

The question is very important in religion & spirituality point of views. God has never wanted that you should believe in His Power. In case,if some one believes then he/she is very lucky to be due to the very kind of God. There are people in the world who do not believe in God but God does not disfavour to them. He looks from equal eyes as for others but those who believe in Him they have enough kind from Him. If you have desire some thing from your wise/older person then our human culture we have to go to meet him/her. The needy person shows his/her interest to fulfill his/her desires to the concerned person. Moreover, concerned person would not come to meet oueselves to provide help to us.till you would not call such person. Thus, God makes no effort to show Himself to us untill we would not pray to Him. Thank you very much for asking the question.

Do you think this amazing world generated itself? Every time I see the sun rise I feel God's presence. Look at a new born baby, is this not a miracle? This is God showing himself. People can see or not see what they want to, for me Godis real

Well, that's the main idea, isn't it? That's kinda the test for humans, do they believe something they can't see. Actually it's not important for God that humans believe Him or not. He still be God! And He shows many sign of his existing for those who really looking for the truth, those who search for Him

How do you know he doesn't show himself? he may not show himself in human form but he shows himself to us in what he's done in our lives and in the world outside he shows himself in creation.

He's given you plenty of 'milk' and 'meat' in the Bible. But, you have to feed yourself for spiritual nutrition.
