Most Music bought of the internet uses something called DRM. DRM stands for Data Rights Management, it basically restricts what you can do with the purchased music. It restricts on what you can play your music on and where you can move and copy it to. However more and more online stores are now selling "DRM free" music, like a certain section on iTunes.
