family starts off with santa claus and then as the child matures they give him jesus when he is old enough to tell him santa is fake. the kid believes it cuz he's already brainwashed into accepting whatever he is told.

I was told about Jesus many years ago, but did not accept it. I lived my life as I wanted to and did what I thought was right. After many painful failures in my life, and not knowing what else to do, I looked into spiritual guidance. Not Christ, but something higher than myself. The more I looked the more I found that the only spiritual truth to be found was that in the Bible and that of Jesus Christ.
It doesn't matter how much Christians try to convince aethiests that they are wrong. There is nothing that a Christian can do to change a person. However, when the power of the Lord comes to you and you feel the Holy Spirit super naturally touch your life, then you will wonder why you didn't listen all those years ago.

No, I did not believe right away. It took a long time and tons of proof.
There is no difference between an atheist and a believer in the Christ except for that teeny weeny leap of faith.
Ask anything.. while I am in here for the next 20 minutes..if i can answer it ..i will...but when it is 5:10 I gotta go.

Wow, I've seen a lot of assumptions made on this board tonight.
Look, I spent the first twenty-five years of my life as a non-Christian.
Enough of my objections were answered so that I could become a Christian. I finally had to admit that I was backed into a corner.
It doesn't mean I've stopped thinking.
And don't assume that you can ask anything I myself haven't asked before.

Jesus said all those who are drawn to me will come to me... and when i first heard the truth in the gospel, God's spirit bore witness with my spirit that i believed, and therefor i was sanctified through Christ Jesus. the evidence was a changed heart and outlook in light of what the son of God died for. you wont understand the son of God until you understand the sin of man.

since the first time i stepped into a church. faith demands no evidence. non-believers don't have the ability to understand this.
