You could either find a local tire shop or do it online. If you go the local route, they will be able to tell you exactly what size tire you need, and can recomend a good type for the style of driving that you do.
If you choose to get some online I would highly recommend dealing with www.tirerack.com !!
They are by far the best. You can input the year make and model of your car and they tell you the size tire you need and give you a list of all tires that would fit your car. It is easy to order them, they have very reasonable prices and the products are of high quality. If you get confused the 1-800 hotline number has great customer service.
If you order online you just bring them to your local store and they will install them for you.
Good Luck

take a look at the tires yourself to see if you need new tires. take a penny and stick it into the tread of the tire. if you can see the top of lincoln's head, then yes you do need new tires. also, if your tires have cracks in the rubber then you need new tires.

tirerack.com is a great site with lots of information and reasonable prices. it is a good way to comparison shop different tires and prices.

i recommend that you purchase the cheapest all season tire possible from tirerack. There is no need to put expensive tires on a '94 camry

I like tirerack.com to start with. Good prices and selection. Plus they have a wide network of shops that will install them for you.
Sometimes a big store, such as Sears, will have a price matching policy. You can print out the price of a tire from tirerack.com and some big tire stores will try to match it when you show them the price. I saved alot of money doing that.

you need tires that correspond to your driving habits. well, having said that- what I mean is this. if you drive in REALLY bad weather then you need tires that work well in rain/snow, etc.

the size of tires you need is going to be determined by the vehicle. you have a very small choice when it comes to sizes, but a very large choice when it comes to the selection of the best tire for your needs.

I would suggest you go to
www.tirerack.com
you plug in your vehicle and it will tell you what size tire you need-stay with stock size.

next you look at tires at tirerack (online) and choose several that you like. then you call around to tire places and ask for their prices for 4 tires of ???
this price will include
tire
mounting
balancing
valve stems
they will try to sell you an extended warranty. unless you drive where it's likely you will tear up a tire then it's, probably, not a wise investment.
I, personally, like to buy my tires at Costco, because they use nitrogen to air up tires and it doesn't need to be re-aired up in-forever. they will also repair tires that get a flat and will rotate and balance free for ever.
my last set was at Discount tire cause
Costco didn't have the tires I wanted.

If you live in the US, you can go to a site like discounttires.com and look up your make and model. They'll give you the out-the-door price if you choose a location (near you). Other sites such as tirerack.com has good deals. As always, you should shop around for the best deal. Good luck.

Go to a tire dealership like Les Schawb or Big O. They are really helpful and they don't do too much upsale pressure.
