If I live on a island and never here about god do I got to hell simply because where I happend to be born? I could live a rich full loving life, be a great person loving father husband. Help anyone in who needs it always do unto others. Follow the 10 commandments, sin then feel bad about as we are all human and not purposely continue that same sin. Or you could say he lived perfectly and never sinned, but never hear about god, does that doom him to hell? I have nothing to support this but I say no, he goes to heaven. Please document your answers if you claim they come from the bible. And by the way I dont want anything documented from anything but the REAL bible. No book of mormon or anything of that nature.

I believe believing in gods intended way of life with never hearing about him is believing in him, because it is him in a sense.

Good point, I didnt even go over them as I was thinking about it. I just think it would be insane to think that our loving god would send people to hell simply because where they happend to be born.

Romans 1 teaches that every human being knows about God and the proof is the creation. Whether or not they admit to it or deny it every person know that God exists. In Romans 2 the Bible teaches that because they know their is a God that created everything they are obviously not equal to that God and are separated from Him by whatever it is that makes God God. In Romans 3 the Bible calls that separtion sin. "For ALL have sinned..." Rom 3:23. The Bible says in Rom3:10 and Rom3:23 that everyone is a sinner. EVERYONE! All means all and that is all that all means! Everyone! I do not care if you do not agree with or like that I did not write it God did! Everyone is a sinner! In Romans 6 the Bible says "the wages of sin is death." The Bible says that death is cast into the Lake of Fire in the Book of Revelation. So then if you are sinner you deserve hell.

I have thought a lot about this question recently and the answer I have come to is I don't know. Jesus said that He is the only way and that no one can come to the Father but through Him. These would seem to indicate that those who never heard of Him will be lost. However to our human minds this seems unfair. God is fair and just. So would He send them to Hell? My human mind says no. The answer I have come to is this. Whatever God does will be fair.
On a little bit of a side note think of this. If because you had never heard of Jesus you could go to Heaven by being a good person then aren't we doing a disservice by teaching people about Him? If no knowledge of Jesus = Heaven by being a good person wouldn't it make more sense to burn the Bibles, close the churches, and never speak His name again? That way all the good decent people who choose not to serve Him would go to Heaven because they never heard of Him or had the chance to reject Him.
I really wish I had a better answer for you than I don't know but somethings we just don't know.

All people are accountable to God whether they have “heard about Him” or not. The Bible tells us that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) and in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The problem is that the human race is sinful; we all reject this knowledge of God and rebel against Him (Romans 1:21-23). Apart from God's grace, God would give us over to the sinful desires of our hearts, allowing us to discover how useless and miserable life is apart from Him. This He does for those who reject Him (Romans 1:24-32).
In reality, it is not that some people have not heard about God. Rather, the problem is that they have rejected what they have heard and what is readily seen in nature. Deuteronomy 4:29 proclaims, “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.” This verse teaches an important principle: everyone who truly seeks after God will find Him. If a person truly desires to know God, God will make Himself known.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me." That's pretty clear to me...only through Jesus can we get to heaven where the Father is. If a person never comes to Jesus, they won't be able to come to the Father either. Even if they never hear about Him. And that is the fault of Christians. Jesus told us at the end of the gospel of Matthew and again in the beginning of Acts to go into the uttermost parts of the earth - that means everywhere - and tell everyone about Jesus Christ and His death for our sins. If people are dying without ever hearing the name of Jesus it is because Christians have failed to do their job. Their blood is on our hands. Sobering, huh?

I'll admit that I asked this same question not to long ago. I think that he will go to hell even if he's done good works and stuff "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV
and I don't think it's his fault exactly if he has not heard about God I think it's more our fault for not going to him and telling him about God though I agree we can't just drop everything and go but there are people who are christians who have been called to the mission field and have not responded. So even if God is a merciful gracious God I think the person would still go to hell.

Only God knows that answer to that question. I think there will be a lot of mercy for people who were good but never had a chance to hear the real message of true Christianity (such as people who now live in Muslim countries where they are lied to and murdered if they try to change religion). I also think that a lot of people who consider themselves Christian will not get into heaven based on what was in their hearts (based on many things Jesus himself said).
Best luck and keep thinking!!!

Judgment would be based on conscience.
"For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another."- Romans 2:14, 15

If you were born on an island without being told of the existence of God and the Bible how is anyone to know? So then, in your religion, God would understand this and see that you are a forgiving and good person. From my understanding this would be more than good enough.

My heart has always told me that someone not given the chance to know and love God could not possible condemed to hell. God judges a person on much more then their religion, he looks at their heart and actions during their lives. Even an athiest could end up in heaven on day for living a wholesome life.
(no offence intended to the athiests)
