Well sometimes my dreams come true. i dont mean it in a fairytale way but whenever I dream at night, sometime in my life that dream comes true. For example I am in 6th grade at a new school. But over the summer vacation I had a dream about a class doing work in groups of 5. I could see some of the faces but the rest were blurry. Then a week ago I was walking into my 4th period class and they were all in groups of 5 in the same order I had it in in my dream. Is there a name for this strange thing that's happening to me. Please Help. I told some people I know and this may seem too crazy but they had a slight feeling i was psychic. Crazy Right? I know! But is there a name for this?I really need to know.

Well Nicole Whenever I dream It hasnt happened yet. Like I Said in my example, I dreamed it BeFoRe I new anyone at that school and BeFoRe I knew what the classroom looked like. In other words I dream it and then Later on ( days, weeks, sometimes even months) it happens before I know about it.

Well nirali_94 Its not deja vu cause I dreamt it. It happens a while after I dream it. My mom even said I am psychic. I just cant belive her. it seems to crazy.

But if anyone can do me a favor by telling me if this is a good idea: My mom told me to buy a journal and everynight I dream, to write it down. Then if it everything in the book happens I might be psychic. Email me and tell me if its a good idea.

are you sure it was a dream? it could've been deja vu.
deja vu is when you witness something happening and you think you've witnessed it before...more or less. this happens because you're probably really tired at that time or just took a nap or slept for a short period of time. when you wake up, you're somewhat disoriented and can't remember certain events clearly. so, when an event occurs, and you think it already happened, but it's really you just realizing what happened. i know it sounds confusing because i can't explain it too well, but it has to do with your mental activity at that moment in time.
but...if it was a dream, i don't have much knowledge in that sort of stuff. what can i say? it's happened to me a couple of times. like you can predict the future...
no, there's some logic behind it, i'm sure.

Some people would call this ESP. But it seems more like a coincidence. And it sounds very probable that you are using "Hindsight Bias", meaning that you are looking back on your dream and thinking that you remember those faces in the class, but really they were just random images. Since you said yourself that they were blurry.

Sounds like your Psychic. I've heard that everyone has psychic ability but few people are in tune with it so to speak. You should look up Sylvia Brown. She is a psychic also. Some people believe in her others don't. But reguardless of that she is very educated in psychic abilities. If you are psychic think of it as a gift. Many psychics help even help police with missing persons cases and cold cases. Definitely look up Sylvia and Goodluck

I think that keeping a journal as your mother suggests sounds like a great idea since it happens so frequently and then you will know for sure..

its called a prophetic dream. These types of dreams are in the Bible. I have had two of these which actually happened. All my other dreams are symbolic.

I've known of persons who had similar experiences and I think it's called lucid or precognitive dreaming.

maybe you are (a psychic), but maybe it's just deja vu. i get it all the time (deja vu).
