I Need help putting my film into my 35mm camera. I got it into the camera but when I try to take a picture it wont grab the end of it and pull it.

So what part of the camera on the left side should I put the end into it and what should I do if it doesnt work?

Looking at the camera back, the film end goes onto the spool on the RIGHT side.

You don't say what camera you have, but modern ones have automatic take-up.

You lay the film end over the spool, close the back and the camera does the rest. If you have one of these cameras, the mechanism may be faulty. See your camera dealer.

On older, manual-winders, the holes in the film must engage the pegs on the spool. Then you wind the film until the counter reads 1. If the pegs are in the holes, it has to work.

Having said all that, your camera may require some other technique. If you don't have a user manual, look online for one. Or take the camera in to a store which sells the brand.

Hope this helps.

Try this:

READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual for the camera. It will have illustrated instructions on how to load (and unload) the film.

I know, I know - pretty radical idea.

Why do people like "Victor98_2001" answer questions with such gibberish? He obviously didn't even read the question.

Nowaday, there weren't SLR cameras,we are using Digital cameras,a most easiest and fastest way to put in digital camera either SD,Compact flash, etc ,don't worry about expired cards, could direct against sunlight and also don't need to put in a Dry- Cabinet.
