Well, Hubby & I are trying for a baby, and my 3.5 year old is VERY excited and impatiently waiting for a new baby in the house. It hasn't happened yet, so it's an ongoing conversation.
A few weeks ago myself and my daughter were putzing around in the Target baby aisle, and my daughter saw those gerber puffs in the canister and wanted them.
Me: honey those are for babies!
R: well when we have a baby can we get those?
me: sure!
R: When are we gonna have a baby mommy?
me: (trying to find something appropriate to say) well, when mommys belly gets big.
and, my loving daughters response, at what seemed the loudest she could possibly speak...
"MOMMY YOUR BELLYS ALREADY BIG!!!!!"
I swear the people in the aisle with us almost died laughing, and I had tears running down my face from laughing so hard lol. The innocence of a child is unbelievable. :)

I was coming out of the house with my 6 year old to make a quick run to the store for milk. Well, across the street there are these 3 well dressed men trying to jimmy the lock on their car door as they have locked their keys in. One of them is holding up his cell phone for the light as it is dark. This catches my son's attention and he asks what they're doing. I explain to him that they're trying to unlock the car door because they locked their keys in there. He asks incredulously "did they do it on purpose?" I giggle and say no was an accident, and sometimes you're not paying attention, etc and it just happens. He responds VERY loudly (and I know they heard) "Or they could just be really stupid!". I lost it and he repeated "What? The could just be really stupid guys". I had to go back in the house I was laughing so hard!

My baby boy keeps on doing something or other to make me surprised and laugh. He is just 2.5 years old and he behaves as if he is grandpa. last saturday i was trying to sleep in night, my husband was doing some work, he was putting some fancy lights on the wall and when the lights are turned on my son doesn't sleep, so he was playing. My hubby was doing this work since morning, so, i asked him when are you coming to sleep. he said it will take only 10 mins and after that he will come to bed. he caught his words and made his oen sentence and he asked me, mom why dad is always working and why you always want to sleep? i couldn't believe it, he is only 2.5 years and he really made a good sentence, which is not right offcourse not always. The way he said it was awesome.

My daughter and I have been in a shop and she or he has simply picked out a small crimson lengthy haired toy cat. She is four and so excited approximately this new toy that she began making a song a track approximately it. What was once humorous is the lyrics to the track. It went some thing like this........Pussy cat Pussy cat PPPUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSYYYYYYYYY (LONG PAUSE) CAT! I was once giggling so tough. Then she will get to the moment verse..... " you may have a bit of leash" and "you are so HAIRY" ****word the complete time she was once making a song on the best of her lungs. I needed to quit pushing the cart and take a seat down for the reason that I was once giggling so tough. Tears have been streaming down my face and she or he couldnt determine what was once so humorous and stored making a song. I regained my composure and converted the track to "you're my sunshine"

I went to walmart this past weekend and bought my 3 yr old one of those all ready made gingerbread house and u just decorate it. I thought it would be good to do together so we mixed the icing and I poured it then she decorated it by herself. So it dried and she said she didn't want to eat it that it was for me. So we left it on the table and my 19 mth old went into the kitchen grabbed it and went to the corner and was eating it. So I'm walking around the house callin her name Hailie Haile where are u and I found her she had it everywhere all over her face down her diaper in her hair. i thought it was soo funny and cute. I couldn't even get mad at her, but my 3 yr old was mad.

Well, the first ever thing my daughter (whose now 2) did to make me laugh was the first time she laughed, it was such a dirty laugh! Another thing she did was the other day she was sat on the arm of the sofa and rolled off backward onto the beanbag (by accident) then got up and walked away! i think it hurt her pride! And she makes me laugh so much when she dances!

My daughter is 4 now, so she is always saying and doing things that make me laugh. Most recently she was watching Hannah Montana, and she was singing and dancing along. She looked so cute I couldnt stop laughing and smiling. What amazed me was that she knew almost every word.

Last night at dinner time we were eating and talking like usual. Out of nowhere she passes gas, which was REALLY loud then she said "Oh no, I just pouted." It caught us all off guard because she was so cute and innocent about saying it. Then I said "What do you say because you passed gas?" She replied by saying "Thank you very much."
