[notice that it's a bit farther down than the usual lip piercings that people have.]

i've heard several different things.. i've heard that it's just called a lip piercing. i've heard it called a "standard", i think. i dunno.
i'd like an answer from somebody who knows for sure :]

thanks.

dumbass, i got it pierced like that on purpose, because i didn't want a ring in it.

learn something about piercings before you start talking about them.

vgionswajfhsdaif.

that's ME in the picture.
lol.

maybe i shouldve been clearer.
the guy who did it told me it was just a lip piercing but i wasnt sure if there was a more specific name.

i know what snake bites are, and monroes and stuff. telling me names of OTHER piercings doesnt help me with THIS piercing.

I too would call it a lowbret. and Lacy it is evident you don't have piercings, because you NEVER twist/turn a new piercing! the only people that tell you to do that are the same dumb@ss people that use piercing guns.

BTW congrats on the metal..it looks good on you!

It's just a labret. Actually, the picture on the bme definition of a labret has a girl with a side one just like your's. Lowbrets are lower, lip piercings are higher, snakebites are a pair, on and on. But that's all it is. I think the most specific you could get is to say it's a side labret, but it doesn't have a "special" name.

The second photo is inner conch, outer conch is the flat part of the ear between the helix. It can hurt, some more for others, takes 6-12 months to heal, clean x2 a day with warm sea salt water (10 minutes), don't touch it/move it about. etc. a professional piercer can answer all of your questions.

all it is, is a lip ring. when you get a piercing done prffesionally they do it with a ring that way u can turn and clean it during the healing proscess then afterwards u can wear the jewelry u want in it such a studs like in that pic.

curious is absolutely wrong..lacy is right, you obviously don't twist the jewelry whenever the hell you want..you twist it to clean it so you get the whole piercing [inside and out] as clean as possible..BUT..that's not the question..

it's called a labret, a lowbret as ^ they are calling it is in some ways incorrect as a lowbret is typically pierced as low on your chin as you can get it..yours just seems to be lower then most..which is actually better then how people normally pierce them because i'm almost positive your jewelry doesn't rub on your teeth cause a receding gumline.. either way it looks great on you :]
