I am a Christian but I will NOT turn the other cheek if someone steals from me, tries to hurt me, or tries to harm anyone I love.

God never told ALL of His followers to gie away all of their possessions.

I think we should strive to be like Jesus in both ways but I think when he said to give away all of your possesions I don't think he meant literally I think he just meant don't become so obsessed with them that you let them take #1 in your lives as for turning the other cheek I will admit I have a serious problem doing that but I think we should still try to.

Jesus was the name that was given to the trick of the crucifixion of two thieves on two crosses that were so named by the inscriptions they bore and the cheeks they turned they were forced to when they were nailed on the crosses with their legs crossed so that they remained upright even if they fell unconscious and by their shouts you can tell that they were mad as hell but helpless.

The Christ was well and safely away from the scene and never touched any of the implements of crucifixion. Even the third cross was borne by the other substitute name Simon.

The Chris had a bunch of well trained swordsmen who were capable of cutting oof the ear of the enemy with one stroke even in the dark of night, and they were very clever escape artists.
