I have read that Mission Rennaisance is a Scientology owned art school, but I have also read that the individual schools are franchises. Are the classes there just art, or do the children get taught Scientology as well?

Im not sure if it matters what religion is running it. If you are not of that religion, and you feel that your children are easily swayed by the crowd around them, then you probably should go someplace else.

As far as I can find, the connection of the Mission Rennaisance school is kindof third hand. The school (which has great reviews) has connections with W.I.S.E. which is about using scientology skills in a corporate environment. And W.I.S.E. has connections with the Church of Scientology.

Ive taken some scientology courses and I think they were great. Then I walked away. But like anything, some people can get too swept up in things and it starts being uncomfortable. I know some people that I would steer clear of any religion, or money making schemes, or record clubs, and even some hobbies, etc.

My guess would be (I don't know for sure), that if it's scientology run or scientology owned Hubbard's beliefs will pop up somewhere. They never pass up an opportunity to get someone into their cult.
