When I was in Saudi Arabia it's like hot in the day and warm at night.
The food is horrible and the water is non drinkable.
You will drink allot of bottle water and you can't rest enough to sleep well.
You worry allot about the enemy coming in so your alert and that makes you a nervous wreck.
When I came home from my tour, I was lost for a several weeks. Looking at commercials on T.V. was a trip.
Walking into Burger King and getting something to eat was a trip.
It took me about three weeks to come back home after I was here and eventually settled in, but right now I still have nightmares and that will never go away.
I served my country proudly and would do it again, but unfortunately this time I cannot. I suffered a major accident to my back.
I'm retired now and wait for my brothers in arms to come home.

We had work 24/7. Then one day off.
1/2 the people on days the other 1/2 on nights.
We did PT, shower, eat, work, lunch, work, eat, work, sleep (with a possiblity of pulling guard duty for a few hours)
On the days off stand in line for phone and/or internet, see if the PX got in a new shipment, do the walk down the hall and see who has what movie you haven't seen yet.
