The PS3 Internet Browser is decent at best. It is based on the NetFront microbrowser. For full Browser enjoyability, I recommend a USB Keyboard (any will work), otherwise you'll have to use the controller to type in webpages based off of the on-screen keyboard. The Browser also supports flash and streaming video sites such as GoogleVideo and YouTube.

The browser is good, but using the controller rather than a mouse gets a little bit annoying. So I have bought a £5 wireless mouse and use that instead.
The PSN is free and brilliant.

i love it you can watch you tube on it so it there are any shows you like that are available on you tube than you can watch them on you TV. you can go on myspace check your mail. the PlayStation 3 network is about to get really hot too. there is about to be something made called the PlayStation home where you can design your own home and invite your friends over like the Sims. also if you have a the PlayStation 3 eye you can use your PlayStation as a video phone (provided that your friends have the PS3 and the PS3 eye) and as mentioned below there are a lot of cool free demos that you can play. so yeah the network it cool lol

It's OK, but a lot of plug-ins aren't supported, you can't tune it, you can't access temporary files, etc. It's better to get a USB keyboard, otherwise typing is rather annoying with a controller.
