I know you have to do what you have to do to bring in the money you need . . but I feel like my fiance works allll the time. I'm not sure if it just feels like this because I get home a lot earlier so I get really bored. Hes gone Monday, Tues, Thurs, Friday from 7am-5pm. Wednesday he doesnt get home until 7pm, and Saturdays hes gone from 930am-430pm. Is this more than a lot of people?

Depend on the company but average with one day off Sunday, hours pretty normal as well, You need to support him and what he does so you can have a better life, don't know what kind of position he have, but if he want to advance them it will be 24/7 gone because he will be on the phone 24/7, Berry on his body at all times and always working on the computer... He will be on a CALL Duty... It pays to have dreams. It pays to appreciate what you have while you have it instead of always looking at what could happen. So you need to talk to him and decide together what is best for you both. Communication is the key and don't get marry if you can't support the hours he works. Because your marriage will fail. But check his pay stub to make sure he is working those hours.

Wish you enough

actually it is not that much above average. i mean you are including commuting time. i think he isn't a workaholic. i know a lot of people that work all day both weekends and closer to 11 hours per weekday. it depends on how ambitious you are. you need to find something to do (how about go to school) so you're not sitting around waiting for him. Or cook a gourmet dinner for when he arrives. in short, get your own life. You could always look for someone who works less, but it would probably impact you economically.

Before I got engaged, I had those same hours. But my additional hours were spent with my second girl friend. investigate further if you don't think he is making the kind of money that his work warrents.

that's a lot of work....you didn't mention what he did for a living and it kinda depends on that....

i'd say not to rely on him so much for your entertainment, that way you aren't waiting around and feeling resentfull.
