Can I use butter, vegteable oil, or corn oil instead?

Use any mild tasting vegetable oil. The lightest oil you have will be fine. Make sure to smell your oil so it's not rancid. Butter will not work the same in your recipe. Corn oil might have a strong smell or flavor - sniff it and/or taste it if you don't have enough vegetable oil. good luck!

Vegetable oil, corn oil, canola oil can all be interchanged.
Not butter because it is solid when cool.

The recipe I have says vegetable oil. So any vegetable oil will do. I wouldn't use olive oil though because it does have some flavor.
