I am interested in purchasing the Samsung HT-TX72 or HT-TQ85, are these wise choices in Home Surround Sound?

Can you recommend a good Home Theater Surround Sound with DVD component with a Budget of $400?

I agree with sirbob.
I'd rank this way:
1. Yamaha
2. Denon
and I'd add Pioneer as #3

Samsung makes good TV's but the other things are kind of "add-ins".

Look for systems by Dennon or Yamaha. At least you will be getting decent receivers that have lots of expansion options.
