Howard Park near Tarpon Springs: Either "blind-cast" from shore along the jetty road or get up EARLY and walk the flats area around the beach. (Be careful! Some areas are sandy-bottom and OK for wading, some are NOT! ) Pencil-poppers & Clousers in green/white and red/white work excellent. Look for tailing Reds early following schools of Pogey & finger Mullet. USE flurocarbon leaders!

Wade around Ben T. Davis Municipal Beach. Pencil Poppers in red/white. Clousers in green/white, white, and crab imitation flys work well. If you start getting "cut-offs" it's either Spec Trout or Spanish. Use a heavier fluro-leader.

HoneyMoon Island is a good wading area as well.

There are many beaches and areas but here are a few.

Hope this helps? Good luck!
