YES CHIPPY!
DING DING DING!!
You got it!
That is why I will state things like that on here, about how praying to mary is not biblical and yes it can be idolatry!
The catholic faith hold mary too high, and I have never understood why- NOWHERE in the Bible does it say to do this- or to the saints! It is about JESUS not mary. Mary was a regular human sinner like everyone else who need Christ's forgiveness just like everyone else....
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
Hebrews 9:15
Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
Hebrews 12:24
and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Of course it is not worship. If it was the Catholic Church would forbid it as the Catechism says that worship is for God only. You left out the definition that applies to this situation and that is that it also means to "ask" and that is what Catholics do when they ask a saint or the blessed mother of God to pray for us.
Think about this.....
When you ask someone to pray for you in your church is that worshiping them? If they ask you to pray for them are they worshiping you?
In Christ

Judging from his reaction to the Israelites on the backside of Mt Sinai who concept it grew to become cool to make a golden calf and say it grew to become to Jehovah's honor, i will say that this account on my own, different than for all the countless scriptures that reference the difficulty, is sufficient to suitable end that photographs in worship are a extensive no no. Regards.

Prayer means to ask.
What does it mean when I ask you, Chippy, to pray for me? I'd bet God would be amazed that u'd put a request in for u'r buddy the giggly giraffe. Anyways, if u have it in u'r heart ... will you pray that I can keep giggling? Or does this mean that I worship you, Chippy?
Well, we ask the Saints to pray FOR us (this is called intercessionary prayer)... we don't pray to them. "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are u among women, and blessed the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of god, pray FOR us ... now and at the hour of our death"

I always thought of prayer as a form of communication, not worship. More often than not, you're doing both at once, but when I used to be Catholic, sometimes I'd communicate with Mary, and I certainly wasn't worshipping.

Yes. I've been saying for years that Christians are heretics to their own religion.
And above that, they pray to statues of these people, so not only are they breaking the first commandment, they're breaking the second commandment, too.
It's too bad they don't realise it, because I'm CERTAIN no Christian is going to repent for it.

Prayer is communication; communicating directly with God.
