wouldn't it be better not to pick a best answer until a day or two has past, instead of just an hour or two?

Wouldn't it be best if people actually chose a best answer instead of having everyone's answers languish in voting & never get voted on?

(And, yes, I agree with your initial statement. :) )

You have to wait at least 4 hours. Most of the time after the first few minutes your question is pushed off the front page and it is rare to get any more answers after that. . .sometimes. . .but not often.

Most of the time I wait a day or so because I forget. : )

well its four hours and.. no i don't think it would matter. After about 30 min the question is so buried that no one cares any more

I think so. I like to see how many different opions I get before making a decision.

not if your friends give you the answer you're looking for right away.

face it. best answer is not about a "best" answer. it's about who agrees with you and kisses your tushie...

they get buried though so i wait 7 hrs thats enough.
