Legal age in Canada is 16.
And yes, go for him. Nobody can really go all out with sex and not feel an attachment to the person. There's nothing to lose by asking, right?

I am curious about your question. You say that this guy "barely gives you the time of day, " yet you also say that you have "slept with him 4 times." ??? It sounds as though you do not value your health, or your self esteem. Sleeping with someone whom you don't really know or have not really developed a relationship with" sounds very unhealthy, both physically and mentally.
I would suggest you self assess your wants, and values before pursuing a relationship with such a person.

That is weird and twisted. You are sleeping with the same guy as you friend. Start hanging around better people before something really bad happens to you. QUIT sleeping with guys at parties. Be more responsible and date more responsible people.

Just because a guy sleeps with you doesn't mean he likes you. Why would you want to be with someone that has hooked up with your "best friend" anyway? You can ask him but I don't think you'll get the answer you're looking for.

he's using you. slept together 4x???? you don't even know if he likes you??? omgosh...ask him DIRECTLY. be straight-forward and ask him. I think he doesn't take you seriously if he doesn't ask you out even if you slept with him (4x...sick). your friend is sleeping with him too??? what kind of guy is he?? if he's sleeping with other people, even if he likes you, it means that he doesn't take you serious. "yeah i like you but i'll sleep with other people"...no....
