There. I've just laid out a weekly workout plan for you.
No, seriously-- I've just lost about that much over a 4 month span. I am about 6'1 200 pounds and I was about 230. I ran 6 days a week, challenging myself more and more. Try to keep your heart rate up for at least 30 minutes. Eat more than 1500 calories a day, but not more than 2000. Avoid starches. Drink a lot of water. Try to eat half your dinner, then wait 5 to 10 minutes. You'll be full, and not want the rest. Also it helps to not eat after dinner if you can help it. If you do eat after dinner no sugars!
Avoid candy. It turns into fat.
Stay with it. I almost wanted to tattoo that on my body. So when I looked at myself and was frustrated I would just keep doing what I was doing. Keep on keeping on. Weigh yourself only once a week.
Good luck. Run hard.

I have lost 32 lbs since 7/1...and I have been very relaxed about it so I am sure I could have lost more if I would have tried harder.
Drink lots of water! At least 5 bottles a day.
Cut out as much processed food as you can...no carbs unless it's whole wheat and limit that even. No sugar, no caffeine, LOTS of veggies, and a little fruit. Get your protein in the form of eggs or lean meat, limit red meat intake. Drink a full glass of water before meals to help fill you up and do not snack between meals unles it is a green veggie (have as many of those as you want in a day, and that doesn't mean dipping them in tons of dressing to coat the taste.) Limit salt/sodium, that makes your body retain water.
Lastly, EXERCISE! I hate exercise, but I do get out and walk...alot. At least 2 miles 5 times per week, and I notice I lose a lot more when I do that, than when I don't.
Don't starve yourself though, that doesn't help...eat smaller meals 5 times per day...and take a day out of the week where you can have a 'cheat' day, where you choose one meal that is normally off limits...that way you won't be so tempted to binge during the week if you have the cheat day to look forward to.
Good Luck!

Firstly, you might not need to lose 30 pounds and you may only need to lose like 15 or 20 pounds and secondly its good that you are saying you need to lose it by march 1, cause its possible.
EXERCISE
You need to exercise. Everyday do 30 minutes of cardio and every other day do strength training like push - ups and sit ups , lift some light weights if you are a female.
DIET
Eat lots of fruits and veggies. You should limit the amount of meat you eat. Cut your calories down to like 1300 per day. DO NOT EAT AFTER 7:00 PM. .....AVOID sodas, fruit juices and all those types of things. Drink lots and lots of water.
Also, if you want drink like a cup or two of green tea everyday,(it helps weight loss and the fat burning process , it worked for me)
SLEEP
Get a good night's sleep very single night, because that is when your body rebuilds itself and gives you the energy to work out and keep going the next day.
Good luck ........I hope that you are successful

Go on the special K diet. You eat special K products twice a day instead of like your normal breakfast and lunch, then eat a healthy dinner like vegetables and fish or chicken. Also exercise regularly. I have been dieting too and I have lost 14 lbs since october 1st. Don't starve yourself and drink loads of water. I would cut out beef ( I haven't eaten beef or pork in 4 or more years) because it is very fatty. Also cut out sugar ( candy, soda, cookies, cakes. ect..). FAST FOOD IS A BIG NO!!! ( eat subway or something healthy like a salad for on the go meals.) If you drink coffee or tea I would use spenda instead of sugar. Cut back on your calories, eat about 1,200 a day. Hope you reach your goals.

sugar, sodas, fried foods, fast foods
it's really more about the total calories you take in versus the calories you expend.
Do the math and make it work for you.
