Petfinder.com or do an online search for a shar pei rescue in your area.
Don't buy one from a puppy mill or back yard breeder -

Try your shelters too, pure breds get dumped just as regularly as mutts.

Good luck, and do something kind for yourself and a dog looking for a good home.

There are 1371 Shar-Pei's on www.petfinder.com. They're a fairly commonly surrendered breed, so you really shouldn't have any trouble finding one if you look in shelters or rescues.

If you do go to a breeder be VERY careful. Shar Pei's are known for having skin problems.

If you're looking to buy from a breeder, consider looking into the Ori-Pei breed. I am NOT condoning mixed breeding (or even buying from a breeder for a pet), but Ori-Peis were bred to get the skin issues out of the Shar Pei breed.

Please check your local rescues. Shar Pei's are a breed that some people can't deal with. We have a SP/Boxer mix from rescue that we adore but you do have to be sure and read up on the skin care needed as well as their personalities. Be kind this holiday season and give an abondoned baby a new, loving and forever home! Petfinder.com - enter the breed and your zip code for lots of choices!
GOOD LUCK!
