The curtains should match the room. No reason for them to be the same or even go together.

I have the same curtains everywhere. They came with the house and are bland but easy on the eye.
I figure it will cost me a small fortune to replace them all. Money I would rather spend on something else so they stay.
In my last house they were different in every room.

it depends. in separate rooms with doors you can mix and match to fit the theme, but if you can see the two different curtains from any point, keep them the same.make sure theyre all white on the inside so you cant tell the difference from outside.

All different. Why would I want all the same curtains in every room?

from the outside they need to look the same unless you have blinds . Inside the house you can have side panels or a valance of a different colour but it's better to carry a shade from the fabric into every room.

They are different but all of the windows have blinds and that is what is seen from outside.
