byy getting some epsom salt, &&making a warm compress with it, ((water, epsom, washcloth)) &&putting it on the bruise for ten minutes, it will help calm the swelling&&make it a little less noticeable. just make sure youu don't make the compress too hot.

Heads Up and I will only say this once, based on 30 years of experience the only thing to stop the bruise becoming a bruise is Arnica Cream! Yes it is a homeopathic remedy and I do not believe in Homeopathic remedies except this one. No matter who did what, the sooner you apply Arnica Cream, the less bruising you will have. My Mother fell from the bed one night, cracked her forehead and eye on the corner of the cabinet at 3am. I slapped the Arnica on it, although it was bleeding profusely and the following day took her to the Doc. He had to remove some 'eyelashes' as the swelling had caused them to turn in and irritate the eye itself, but very little black, brown, blue or yellow if any at all just swollen? He was undecided on if it would heal without stitches, was going to stitch it up but held off until the following day. I took her back and he said 'No Stitches!' I use it on myself and carry a tube wherever I go. Trouble is you have to apply straight away the sooner the better. Good Luck

there is no way to get rid of a bruise, basically a bruise, its also called a contusion or ecchymosis, is a kind of injury to biological tissue in which the capillaries are damaged, allowing blood to seep into the surrounding tissue. It is usually caused by blunt impact. Bruises often induce pain but are not normally dangerous. Sometimes bruises can be serious, leading to other more life threatening forms of hematoma, or can be associated with serious injuries, including fractures and internal bleeding. Minor bruises are easily recognized by their characteristic blue or purple color in the days following the injury.
