Just look at Ernest Angeley or Benny Hinn, and honestly ask if they're not scams, I think you will have your answer.

Most people would argue that organized religion has been the cause of most of the chaos in the world. Others however believe that bad people have manipulated the bibles meaning to further there gains. But looking back at some of the terrible things done in the name of religion the interpretation was not at fault. And if that were true what other possible explanations for such terrible things could there be. So my conclusion is the devil must have written the bible. That seems to be the only logical explanation left. So you ask is it the greatest scam?
Well wouldn't it be if that were true?

I think that most spirituality and religion was invented to help people feel more connected to the universe and less lonely and more whole. It is only those who have used spirituality and religion to try to control others who are scamming people.
Here is a test I use to sniff out a scam: Does the belief in question demand that I follow blindly, asking no questions? I tend to think that we were made naturally inquisitive, so to me it seems that any rules of unquestioning faith would go against the nature that created us.
Luckily, there are plenty of open-minded spiritual paths to explore, if you choose to do so.

Well, on one hand yes, because they enable people like Benny Hinn to do their dirty work:
"He has no church. He belongs to no denomination. He's not even affiliated with any particular religion, although his buzz words indicate he tends to dwell on the freaky backwoods fringe of Pentecostalism. As recently as three centuries ago, he probably would have been burned as a heretic. (To give you some idea of his doctrinal strangeness, he once preached that the Trinity is actually nine persons, because each member of the Trinity – Father, Son, Holy Spirit – is also a Trinity. He also says that God and the Holy Spirit have real bodies, with eyes, hands, mouth, etc. Various theologians have trashed him, of course, for preaching "new revelations" directly from God that turn out to be, when examined, variations of thousand-year-old heresies.) He thinks of himself as a prophet (even when his prophecies don't come true) and, in one burst of grandeur, "a little messiah walking on the earth." He believes that the Biblical Adam flew into outer space, that when God parted the Red Sea He made it into a wall of ice, that God talks to him more frequently than he talked to, say, Moses, that a man has risen from the dead in his presence, that a man turned into a snake before his eyes, that angels come to his bedroom and talk to him, and that the only reason we're not all in perfect health, living forever, is that there are demons in the world, attacking us. He's expressed opinions normally heard only on schizophrenia wards, and he's done it in front of millions of people – and still they come. They come in such numbers that thousands have to be turned away, and even the ones turned away gladly give him their money."

Religion might be, but spirituality is not. There may be scam artists profiteering and proliferating in both movements though. That is why it is always best to go deeper within instead of deeper without.

particularly circumstances i think like we finally end up judging the human beings extra advantageous than their ideals. i do no longer think of it is sweet. Theists get offended at atheists and criticize them, in my opinion, and atheists are so sarcastic and impolite that they scarcely depart a deferential remark on questions presupposing the existence of God. i do no longer think of any question is inherently idiotic (different than those "spiritually talking" questions...), yet there is often somebody available who will criticize the asker good off the bat because of the fact they have not got faith an identical concern. that's the ideals that are in question, no longer the guy believing them. i think of a great way too plenty is assumed, and lots to little is easily reported here. human beings insult one yet another over no longer something, and for no reason. it may well be superb if human beings stopped attempting to discover middle floor between absolute ideals, and it may well be superb if the human beings who held those absolute ideals did no longer hesitate to undertaking them to grievance (theist and atheist alike).

No.
Religion is man reaching out to God.
Judaism and Christianity is God reaching out to man and man's response.
A very few people have used religion as a scam but thankfully they are few and far between.
With love in Christ.

Spirituality, is more needed than religion, however our faith is more needed in God, then more words can say~As God, is all Love, he never leaves us but some leave God for the war of religion~ As it is written "so it shall be"~ just love the best you can in your faith of your Spirituality, and there your true faith will be.~~ For God, gave up his Son, for us so don't you feel it right to give of our Love to only one God, and let he be Judged not we Judge others but only to love in the most divine love that we can not understand but only to love in the most highest of Spiritual love in order to get to Gods love?
