My day was wretched. With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, customers are testy, knowing that if they don't get service before the holiday, they'll have to wait until after - and also, wanting more service, because they know they will have additional family in. Additionally, there are several extra tasks that the business owners have decided to throw into this busy mix, and other employees have asked me for special favors but haven't shown any common courtesy in return. I took a late lunch today as I was completing a tassk for another employee, but when I asked him to come check to see if what I had done worked so that I COULD take my lunch break, he just sat around joking with other employees and completely ignored me. Hopefully tomorrow will be better, but who knows?

Slooooooooow. I haven't really been bored because I've been house hunting and found the perfect little treasure so I've been pretty excited about that. The only thing that pisses me off is that my boyfriend won't answer his phone. Seeing as how we'll both be living in this house, I'd really like his input on it.

It was fun, we played dress up in special chemical protection suits and learned how to use our chemical warfare detection kit and all our other neat stuff, and then we went into a chamber where they popped off CS gas and we had to recite our sailor's creed w/o our gas masks before we could leave...Of course I got to I think "I am" or "I am a" then I said f*ck this and bolted for the door...followed shortly by the rest of the class....

Pretty wet, I was stripping paint outside in the rain. We're doing up my boyfriends nans house and really the building needs to be knocked down and built again (its four hundred years old!) but instead we're just patching up, as soon as we're done it'll be time to start again I think!

long, busy, and tiring. i only got 3 1/2 hrs sleep last night, still got 1 1/2 to go at work for a just under 12 hr day.

the morning went fast
by lunch i was ticked off because people can't do their job untill the very last second and then i have to do it!
now i'm waiting so i'm a bit board just need that mental break

Umm it was ok, arrived at 7am, had lunch as late as I was allowed to (1:30pm), then finished at 3:45, and then drove on home in the darn rain!
