This is what pain is (chronic)

i swore to be faithful to someone else
my reason to be complete
then she came into our life
to Ruin it

let me tell you about my mistress
she is my Constant companion
and she loves to tease me
i know her all too well

i can not recall Life without her
it was such a long time ago
all i know is her
unable to recall time before

she holds me close
and is Never far away
controlling my every move
directing my every thought

my mistress steals my happiness
and makes me do things i’d rather not do
she’s a *****
and she is all mine

i know her better than anything
i love to Hate her
why won’t she go away
and leave me alone

i try to get away every chance i get
but i am in too deep
slowly realizing the truth
only Death will separate us

she is within me
my nemesis, myself, my pain
my reason to die
yet my reason to Live

It depends on if you have Physical, Emotional or Psychological Pain? They are all PAIN! However the only Organ in the Human Body that does not feel pain is, believe it or not the Brain! Therefore pain is a Perception and that is why he wants you to describe it! Perhaps you might think he is not a good Teacher, your perception, while I might think he is the best Teacher, my perception. So pain to you, will mean something different to him and me and every Human, because it is perceived. Good Luck.

In my experience it is all different degrees of burning.

Getting stuck with a needle feels a lot like touching a hot match.

Getting cut or breaking a bone is pretty much the same as getting a second degree burn.

Having an inflamed nerve extending the entire length of your leg is like have liquid fire constantly injected into the center.

I would say that pain feels like getting burned.

It depends on what part of the body it is. Sometimes it can be on a scale from 0-10.
