I am having a hard time finding something for my daughter for christmas. She's at the age where she can't do a lot of things but she's going to be able to do them soon. Anybody have any suggestions? She's 18 months.

I found some dolls by Fisher Price that have snap on clothes that are easy for little kids to change. I considered them for my daughter but she is 3 and really will outgrow them super fast. Does she have any ride on toys, no pedals, just something she can scoot around on? At that age, my daughter really liked the peek-a-blocks and roll-a-rounds. Also, Fisher Price Little People. I know, I sound like an ad for Fisher Price but they do make good toys! I also got my daughter a toy cell phone and car keys around that age. They were made by Parents and Target sells them. She liked acting big with them. Good luck!

It's the little things my daughter enjoyed. Bath toys were a big hit at that age. We got her a doggy xylophone that she could bang on and pull around on a rope. She's 2 1/2 and still plays with those things. Those color-safe Crayola markers that don't mark furniture, clothes, etc., are wonderful and my daughter used to draw with those. Good luck!

You can't go wrong with any of the leapfrog or vtech products! They are educational and will last for years (which is great if you plan on having more kids!)

One of those horses that she can hop on and rock back and forth, you may have to supervise her but she will go nuts for it, I raised three toddlers and they all loved those horses.
