It was all running fine until i plugged it in the computer on sunday to update. It had supposdly updated and turned off, when I turned the tomtom back on it does the start up music and the hand comes up and then it freezes every time! I have tried over and over using the reset button. Any ideas how i can fix it? Thanks!

Have you tried restoring the back-up? Sometimes the update doesn't complete properly. The version 2 of TomTom home is better in this respect.

This happened to me, unfixable. Return to the store for a full refund and a happy smile from the staff.

I HAVE SEEN THIS ON A GARMIN GPS BEFORE AND IT WAS FRIED INTERNALLY.
IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND GARMIN JUST REPLACED IT FREE.
