I bought my turkey last night and left it out over night should I put it in the refrigerator until tomorrow so that I can base it???

It's best to thaw it in the fridge, but it takes a pound to melt in 24 hours. ( Thats what they said in Good Morning America ) And if you're in a hurry, you can put the turkey in a bowl of ice which melts in 30 minutes per pound.

I would put the turkey in the refrigerator to make sure your turkey does not spoil.....since it was probably frozen solid, leaving it out overnight probably didn't hurt it but I would put it into the fridge just to be on the safe side

Never leave anything that you want to defrost outside. It lets the outside thaw quicker than the inside and the warmth can allow bacteria to grow. If you dont have time to thaw in the fridge,you can submerge it in the bathtub with cold water (not warm) replacing the water with more cold until its finished. This way is much faster than the fridge. gl!

YES! Keep it in the fridge to thaw, on a platter or in a big bowl.
