I am the opposite. It all comes out when i am lying in bed trying to sleep. the thoughts won't stop. sometimes i give in and let myself cry because i feel like i can get to sleep faster if i cry it all out.

well i feel u all the way sista. my bf, bestfriend and father of my children broke up last year after 10 years and still to this day i cry everytime i p/u my kids r to talk to him r nething like that. something so serious is devastating and everybody is affected differently. so just take it one day at a time. i cannot tell u that u'll get over it and things like that cuz i don't know but i do know that one day u will put it to the back and not to say that u will stop loving him ever but one day u will b able to move on to other things. just pray and ask the Lord to help u through this difficult time in ur life.

I though people felt more emotional in the middle of the night for than any other time of the day. Usually at night, everything is more quiet, more lonely, and (obviously) darker, enhancing the feelings that were already there, making everything seem exageratedly worse.
Hmm...I don't know...but I suppose you are still grieving. Give it time. Slowly, I believe it will get better. Sorry you are so sad.

Yes and I'm a guy. It's like that right now for me because of a lack of communication in our relationship from her end. That'd be my girl friend and I feel a lack of total commitment. Yes' I've experience it and still am. Do you have nightmares about your ex? I do about my current gf. Like I gotta fight to keep her. I don't cry per say but I do feel down and gloomy. I hope you get some good answers from both sexes on this. Feel better soon. You'll find a better guy soon enough.

At night because of the fact you get 2 think of approximately issues that are bugging you. in the morning and via the day there is merely no time to get emotional because of the fact you will desire to get to artwork and stuff.

I think that it affects people at different times of the day depending on the person.
In the morning, we wake up and come to realization that the person is no longer in our life, and it comes to us as a shock which can cause an emotional breakdown.

You have more going on during the day to take your mind off it. The more you relax or aren't thinking about things the more you're going to think about what you feel. The feelings slowly fade out. I think everyone goes through it to some degree. Friends or activities can help keep your mind off of it, until the feelings fade more.
