I bought an onion a few days ago because I am making a dish that needs it. I think I will only need half of it since it won't be a big meal. Can you store the rest of it? If yes, how?

Peel & cut the onion for what you need.
Store the rest in a zip-loc baggie in the frig meat keeper.

Yes you can.... put it in a tupperware container, or a plastic bag if you dont have one and it should be good for about a week. If it starts to brown toss it out. Good luck.

well yes you can just put in a plastic bag and store in fridge

You can store it for at least a week in the refrigerator.
