so there is this girl i really like and the first girl ive had a crush on....... i give her flowers and she blushes and all that but doesnt say too much (that was friday) then thinking i might have a chance i asked her to the movies last night to see a horror movie ...in the movie i put my arm around her and she then cuddled up to me and put her head just under mine :) so i thought she might like me soo when the movie was finished i asked her if she liked me and she said only as a friend!! :( i mean i am very confused ...why didnt she say something to me on friday and why did she cuddle up to me ....i really feel crap

It was only a first date. Give the girl a chance. Just because you are crazy for her already doesn't mean she has had the time to feel the same way. Cuddling is a good sign, but I fear you may have scared her off by declaring your feelings so quickly (even if you didn't say it, the expression of hurt on your face probably said loads).
Did you scare her off? Are you still pals? If you are still pals, then try again, but this time take it slow. Let her get to know you first. Go at her pace for a week or two. If the chemistry is there, you'll know pretty quickly.

She likes you as a friend right now ... but she didn't say she wouldn't like you as more. It's been a while, it's your first date - she might not really know how she feels about you yet. Just keep trying and see where it goes; I don't think you should give up yet.

She might of been scared to tell you she actually likes you. And she might be kicking herself that she couldn't build the courage to actually tell you. From what you say it sounds like she does like you, I wouldn't give up just yet.

thats very strange and a mean thing to do...maybe she is just friendly and comfortable around you , enjoys your company but doesnt see you romantically...best thing to do is just leave it and find sumone ur interested in and who likes you too!

Maybe she just got really nervous when you asked her. I've done stuff like that with guys I really like (esp. when they asked me if I like them without saying if they like me first), and when they've asked me again later they give me a different answer.

maybe she's the type of girl that gets really close to her male friends...cuz im like that with one of my friends and to some girls it just maybe their way of friendship
