Depends how long you've been together and that you both consider yourselves boyfriend and girlfriend. As far as I'm concerned if he considers you his girlfriend, he should provide you with that title when introducing you, so that any potential misunderstandings are eliminaed. My gut feeling is that you have a ligit concern.

The only girl your boyfriend should be bringing around is you, and assuming he's told everyone about you, he shouldn't need to specify that you're his girlfriend. I get the same thing. I am introduced by my name only; everyone assumes I am his girlfriend. (The only exception to this that my boyfriend made occurred when he was introducing both me and his friend from law school - and we have the same first name, lol. He specified his friend and his girlfriend to the people we were meeting.)

I suppose you're thinking too deeply, but I can't say I blame you. I like the title, and I like to be referred by it, but I've learned that it's not really a big deal. People will figure it out.

Have you ever noticed the way he introduces other people? For instance, does he introduce his friend as "This is my friend, Jim" or simply as "This is Jim"? It may just be his way of introducing people. If he introduces *everyone* else but you by including the relationship, then maybe there's something fishy going on there. Otherwise, you're probably just reading too much into it.

i don't think you should be offended or anything, but my ex-boyfriend used to do that and it hurt my feelings. My current boyfriend says "my girlfriend...." and it feels like he is proud of me. Be mature and ask him about it. Because, knowing guys, he hasn't even thought twice about how he introduces you.

It would make me mad too. Just ask him why he does this. If this continues just start introducing him as your "friend". If he were serious about you he would introduce you as his girlfriend.

Well it is much more sutible but it is those little things like the first date that support the relationship so it is not a problem it is just what you prefer
