And maybe some broccoli, depending on what answers I get here. If I get the pre-cooked, frozen shrimp, do I just thaw it and toss it in with the sauce? At what point? Same question with the broccoli, although I think I'll do fresh broccoli.

That's excellent! If you get the pre-cooked frozen shrimp, just let it thaw a bit or lightly nuke it, then drain the water. Same thing with frozen broccoli. If you use fresh broccoli, then you might want to steam it a bit before tossing it in. I love alfredo, it's so versatile.

just thaw the shrimp, steam the broccoli and toss it all together in the sauce to warm up the shrimp. Sounds yummy!

Yumm - it's good with shrimp! Yeah - just thaw it and toss it in to heat up once you've made the sauce - it'll only take a minute. If you're using brocolli, cook it first and then drain and add it. I don't know if I'd use that, but if you like brocolli, why not?

hey red don' t know wheather you got your dish going of not ,but this is the way i through mine togather it's quick and easy. get your apron and lets go!
1 16oz jar of alfredo pasta sauce, put in small pan heat over med heat.
1 8 oz pk. of angel hair pasta, cooked as per directions
2 # med. shrimp peeled and devined , boil 2 or 3 min. till turn orange don't over cook will be tough
1 cup ,2 sticks butter, melted with 1 tsp garlic and 1/2 tsp ground cumin, put this in pan add shrimp to marinate 1/2 hour
1/2green pepper diced
1/2 small red onion chopped fine, saute pepper and onion till soft in large skillet, when the veggies are soft put every thing in the skillet to bring up to eating temp and bring togather.
while this is happening i will get the garlic bread fixed while you get the drinks togather and light the candles, i will meet you at the table. good luck and good cooking. bacondebaker

broccoli is great in it but cook it first then add it.
