May I ask you All a Question About Thanksgiving?

Now..that I have **Everyones Attention**.. :)

What is everyone doing, this coming Thursday?

Will you be spending the day with "Friends" or Family?

For those that have to travel..I wish you safe traveling mercies..

For those that are alone..my heart goes out to you.. :(

To those that do not celebrate Thanksgiving..it may be because you do not live here in the USA..or because of your thoughts or beliefs..

In years past, my family would gather at my mother's house, and there we would spend our holidays, all 35 of us. But times change, and everyone has in-laws and their own children's homes to go to. For the past 2 years, my sons and I have celebrated alone, and I admit that it can be rather depressing.

Finally, I have succeeded in convincing my mother to come to my home (she has started spending the holiday with my uncle). So it will be a quiet dinner with myself, my children, my mom and stepfather. Nothing like holidays of the past, but better than the last few.

I will be traveling to my dad's house, about 80 miles from here. I am the sister who everyone thinks "can't cook," so I have been given the tasks of bringing cool whip and dinner rolls, LOL. Also, no-bake cheesecake.

I'm not doing NEthing especially exciting, I will go 2 a free feed or 2 downtown in Seattle.
