If the person is judging me negatively, I ask myself whether that person objects to something I have just said or done. For example, have I just run a red light? Or have I blurted out something unkind or rude? Maybe there's a good reason for them to object to something I said or did.
If, on the other hand, the person doesn't seem to have any basis for objecting to some specific behavior, but just seems to be judging me as a person, then I ask myself whether anyone of us truly has the wisdom and the experience to judge anyone else as a person?
My general opinion is that none of us has that. So anybody judging someone else is doing something they're really not qualified to do. Which, if they keep it up, means they're going to find themselves in a world of trouble sooner or later. So I think about that, and hope that, sooner or later, they will wise up and knock it off.

A judge is a person with whom you've given power to. The government appoints judges to decide the faite of people.
Within my personal life I have appointed FEW judges that I accept as influencing my life. Too many judges (like too many cooks) spoil the outcome.

Judgemental people try to use mind control over others.
If you simply do not allow them to do that, they cannot control you. THey either 1) get frustrated and try HARDER or 2) they give up.
I have sucessfully dealt with people like that by 1) being uber-proud of the person I am and 2) completely ignoring and pretending like someone like that does not exist. Again, its a form of mind control, and someone like that will refuse to be ignored..but it's a matter of wills...you will NOT change, and they probably wont either...but they aren't going to have the better of you!

If you are reflecting the attitude you want to portray and love yourself, it doesn't matter what people think of you. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. So how do I deal, I ignore it but if it warrants any truth I take it as an opportunity to look at myself and change for the better, if necessary.

Honestly I was raised to think that my opinion of myself should always outweigh other's opinion of me. So when people judge me I tend to look at them and judge them for all their flaws. I also judge myself and for the most part my opinion of me is always higher than my opinion of them so I don't let anyone's critizism or remarks bother me.

I tell them that they are entitled to their own opinion and if they want to judge me then so be it...I also tell them it is sad that they never will get to know the real me...and then just leave it at that.

i ask my self if its true if not i try to not care, because you believed everyone's opinion of you, you be very unhappy. i try not to judge other people unless i have to or what they are or doing is too wrong becuase if i judge them it just gives them grounds to find my faults and advertise them to any one who cares.

if i person judges me without knowing me then i just ignore them because they would not be someone that i would like to know. also it does not bother me because they are entitled to their opinion how ever misguided.
