I am shy and I gave my number to another shy person..how long do I wait before he should call.?

I have it to him yesterday and he put it in his pocket. He barely says anything at all...but he is super hot and I have glanced at him and we met eyes and then we both turned away. How long should I wait before he calls, or if he dpes not like me?
