Sometimes it's the smallest things that can surprise you and make a memorable holiday. The year that "Truth or Dare Jenga" was released, I had been wanting the game, but it was always sold out when I was in the stores. Some of my family knew that I wanted it, but I was shocked to find that my grandmother, who I hadn't told, was the one who'd picked up the game for me. Usually, she's not "up" on the hot new items, and finds it nearly impossible. However, she'd asked others in the family if they knew of something I really wanted, and if they could look and pick the game up for her while they were out shopping. It made my day! =)

I know it sounds terrible now, but in the early 1980s my mother bought me an oz of an illegal substance, cleaned it, rolled it, wrapped and hung it on the Christmas tree--and then had to tell me to look for it after all the presents were opened and I still hadn't spotted it! It sure was a surprise, especially coming from my mother!!!
