lol, you tell those annoying answerers! (in your additional details) Just to look busy, atheism is the negation of 'theism' --belief in God-- 'a-theism', just like atonal means not musical and asshole means not nice. haha!

It's somebody who lacks beliefs in all gods - including the God of the Bible, Zeus, Thor, Odin, Queatzalcoatl, Allah, Jesus, and all the rest.

It's someone who doesn't believe in god or gods. And it's not a religion by itself, it's more of an adjective; most Buddhists are Atheists also.
But, if you ask someone and they say they are an Atheists, take it as them saying they have no religion.
No, they are not Agnostic
