God is truth. Truth is relative to understanding. It is often rejected by the ignorant. Ultimately it cannot fail.

the problem with the idea of truth is that it changes from person to person, from situation to situation.
Truth is a perception (in my opinion). What is truth to one person may very well not be the truth to another. Truth is often deluded by individual thoughts and experiences, it is based on a perceived reality.
Does truth still prevail? Does truth win? Well that's in the eye of the beholder and in some cases the answer is no to both.

When it comes to the organized religions of the world and Atheist too. Truth doesn`t fit in the nice little box of thinking they`ve sealed themselves into.
Ultimate Truth does prevail, but many won`t reap the benefits from it as long as people hide from the light of it.

Truth does have power and efficiency, since it works. But, sometimes mass fantasies can take hold, and reinforce themselves. They may at times be shaken by the more powerful truth, but they can retreat and be reassured by their fellow fantasy believers. A lot of times the only way the true, can override a strongly reinforced fantasy, is for a crisis to arise, that makes a stronger connection to the truth a requirement. Of course if the truth can spread over time, eventually the fantasy will be in big trouble, against a stronger opponent.

Truth always prevails. But not in the time frame we may want it to.

Truth only wins when people are willing to embrace it.

Why anyone still believes in evolution, after Louis Pasteur disproved spontaneous generation in 1862 is a mystery.

Not where Congress is involved.

Standard American medicine is responsible for more deaths in the US [nearly a million people annually!] than heart attacks.
Yet the FDA AND Congress go out of their way to shut down any alternatives, regardless of their efficacy. And anyone with the temerity to blow the whistle on them gets disbanded or persecuted.
Nice, huh?
