I recently learned about the idea of teaching with love and logic, and want to start parenting this way as well. My son is only 8 months old though. :D What is an appropriate age to begin, in your opinion?

Though a bit more money, Jim Fay's CDs are much, much better than the books. I've listened to them 20 times over the past four years. Trust me, they work. I have the best-behaved kid on the block.

The Love and Logic approach is an excellent complement to many attachment parenting principles. Start now building a great trust bond with your child. That bond will work wonders later on, as you begin to let your son explore, experiment & make safe learning mistakes in his life.

The Love and Logic couple who wrote those books and that technique have different methods that apply to different age groups. You should pick up their book for the early years.
