Jesus was a messenger full of grace and an exemplery example to show us how to live. But also so was Moses/ Joseph/ Noah/ Jacob/ Issac etc etc. Isnt there much in common between us muslims and christians?

To Jesus saviour. Dont worry about me. We worship the Father himself. Besides when Jesus looked up to the Heaven and prayed, who was he praying to?

To Faye:: Jesus did say that all rightous men are the sons of God. So if you worship God and live rightously, you are a son of God the Father. Unfortunately Not many of us are good people. I wish we could all be classed as the children of God one day. Dont you.

As sala'amu alei'kum, aziz.

It's good to see that some Muslims, at least have begun to understand the Word of Allah and love Isa bin Maryum al Massihe.

Jazakallah, aziz.

Wa'akum deenakum wa'aliya deeni.

Ma salamah.

Just thought I'd translate my Arabic for those who don't understand it.

"May Peace and blessings be upon you, my friend.

It's good to see that some Muslims, at least, have understood the True Word of God and have learned to love Jesus Christ. - the Messiah.

May God bless you, my friend.

To you be your Path and to me be mine.

God bless.

I speak Arabic and have studied al Qua'aran. I'm perhaps one of it's worst critics, but, I would not denigrate myself to using un-Parliamentary language and insults where common sense and logic suffice nor use taunts where they're unnecessary. Of course, I'm a Christian.

Please pardon our less courteous Brothers of the Book, aziz.

Ma sala'mah.

If you think He was such a great prophet, and you believe he was a truthful honest person, why would you not believe Him when He said He is the Son of God?

Jesus Christ IS the Son of God. He and the Father are one. He died to save us from our sins. You need to go a step further and accept Him as your Saviour.

At what point will muslims believe what Jesus said and did? It will be a wonderful day when they see the Truth. Jesus is the Way, the Truth , and the Life. No man comes to the Father except through Him.

No. Actually there ISN'T "much in common between ...muslims and Christians".

When muhammed was inventing islam, he specifically rejected and denied the divine nature of Jesus, Son of the one true God. In so doing, I believe that he therefore rejected and denied God Himself. Hence "allah". Christians do NOT believe that "allah" is God.

Christians generally believe that it's very disrespectful to refer to the Son of God as a "prophet" or as a "messenger". It would be somewhat like referring to a person as a "mammal".

The Son of God was NOT "also" as anyone.

I believe in God our Father. I don't label myself as Christian, Muslim, or any other name for a Woman of God you can think of.

If you believe that God is your Father, then you are my brother/sister regardless of what they call you.

One big thing that the two have in common is an insistence that they are right and others are wrong.
